AC Milan were formed in 1899 and play in the Italian Serie A where they share their stadium with their fierce rivals Inter Milan.

To date they have won the european cup seven times and the league title 18 times.

After winning the league title 3 times in the 1900's Milan didn't win their next one until 44 years later when they won it in 1951,after winning it another 7 times between 1955-1988 it would take Milan another 4 years to win the next one in 1992 where it started a decade of domination.

During the mid 80's Milan appointed legendary manager Arrigo Sacchi and signed dutch trio Marco Van Basten,Ruud Gullit and Frank Rijkaard and by the late 80's the Milan team were beginning to look formidable throughout Italy and europe,the dutch trio were also joined by Italian legends Franco Baresi and Paolo Maldini and they went on to win the european cup in 1989 and the team were now recognised as being one of the finest teams to ever grace a football field.

During the 90's Milan won an impressive 5 league titles and 2 european cups,2 more league titles were won in 2004 and 2011 and 2 more european cups in 2003 and 2007

Without any doubt AC Milan will always be one of the biggest teams throughout europe as the Rossoneri continue to strive for domestic and european dominance once more.
